About The Provider
Aileen Abankwa, M.D., is a urogynecologist at Inspira Medical Group. She received her medical degree from the University of Southern California. She completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and a clinical fellowship in urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medicine in New York.
Dr. Abankwa believes in partnering with each patient through open, honest dialogue to craft personalized treatment plans. As an educator and advocate for health equity, she is committed to demystifying urogynecologic care and empowering people with clear information and access regardless of background. Guided by compassion, respect and a spirit of curiosity, she continuously refines her practice to support lifelong well-being.
When she is not working, Dr. Abankwa enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and extended family. She also enjoys exercising and watching reality TV.

I was so happy with Dr Abankwa. She was professional and kind. She had information for me that helped tremendously in my very personal problem. I knew immediately when she began to explain that she understood, would have a treatment plan for me and she gave me options. I felt like this practice was so available for help. What a wonderful feeling of relief.

I was just surprised how long it took for the urine test to come back. My visit was on a Friday and I never got the results until late Wednesday . I had to wait for the right antibiotic. They sent it out to LabCorp. It would have been nice if they could have done that test in the office.
