Charles McCann, MD

Charles McCann, M.D., is a general surgeon with a minimally invasive specialty at Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill. He received his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University and medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Dr. McCann completed his categorical general surgery residency with Inspira and a Minimally Invasive/Robotic and Bariatric Surgery Fellowship with Saint Luke’s Health Network in Kansas City. He is board certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery.


Dr. McCann practices innovative care, using advanced technology, robotics, and state-of-the-art techniques to enhance treatment and improve surgical outcomes. By listening to his patients and addressing their concerns, he strives to foster a collaborative, patient-centered experience.


When he is not working, Dr. McCann enjoys learning new technologies, such as advanced mobile software, machine learning, and virtual reality systems. He also has an affinity for playing the piano and guitar, fitness, hiking and outdoor adventures with his wife and black lab, Ollie. He loves living in New Jersey, where he can be close to his family and the shore.
