Christopher Bashian, DO

A south Jersey native, Dr. Christopher Bashian D.O. is the Inspira Health Network Chair of Robotic Surgery, and Director of the Bariatric Surgery Program at Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill. He is certified and proficient in Robotic Surgery, performing over 1,000 procedures with the da Vinci robotic surgical system. He is also board-certified in General Surgery, performing a wide variety of surgical procedures.


After receiving his medical degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Bashian joined Inspira and completed his residency at Inspira Medical Center Vineland. There, he served as Chief Resident in his final year and was given the President’s Award in General Surgery. He then chose to continue enhancing his surgical expertise and completed a fellowship in Minimally Invasive, Robotic, and Bariatric Surgery at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, Maryland. He also serves as an active leader in the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. Dr. Bashian has now returned to his home of South Jersey to serve the community he grew up with.
