David S. Shields, M.D., A.G.A.F., F.A.S.G.E., is a gastroenterology specialist with Inspira Medical Group in Vineland, NJ. He received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Penn Medicine’s Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He then completed a Fellowship in Gastroenterology at Penn Medicine’s Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Shields is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology and Hepatology, and is a Fellow of the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
