Derek A. Stephenson, MD

Dr. Derek Stephenson is a board certified General and Bariatric surgeon specializing in laparoscopic bariatric surgery procedures, including sleeve gastrectomy, Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, lap-band removal, and revisional surgeries.

Dr. Stephenson received his medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia followed by his residency training in general surgery at the University of Arizona Medical Center. He then further specialized his surgical skill by completing a fellowship in bariatric surgery at the Orlando Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Stephenson is also board certified with the American Board of Surgery. He is accepting new patient appointments and is available for consultation at ESA South Jersey Bariatrics offices in Vineland, NJ.
