The doctor was very thorough, even brought in a laptop and showed me actual diagrams of what was going on and explained the situation perfectly and I understood it at all

While she was very good, I feel patients should leave the exam room after clothing for an opportunity to speak with the physician in an office environment. The exam and being seated on the exam table make a patient very vulnerable. Decisions about different surgical procedures and expected outcomes should be discussed in a physician's office where the patient feels put back together, comfortable and confident. I also would have liked my spouse to be present during our discussion.
