Gordon E. Callender, MD

Gordon Callender, M.D., is a general and colorectal surgeon treating patients at Inspira Medical Group Surgical Associates Vineland. He earned his medical degree from SUNY - Stony Brook University School of Medicine, completed his residency at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and completed a colorectal fellowship at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital. Dr. Callender offers comprehensive care for patients with both benign and malignant colorectal and anorectal diseases, biliary diseases, hernias and soft tissue diseases. He is experienced in the latest minimally invasive surgical techniques including conventional laparoscopy and robotic surgery. Dr. Callender is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery.

Dr. Callender participates in collaboration with primary care physicians and gastroenterologists to provide the best, most comprehensive care to his patients. He believes that physicians must work together to treat the whole patient, not just the disease. He is now accepting new patients.
