I was involved in all discussions and choices about my care, vaccination and need for repeat bloodwork prior to possibly taking a medication

The doctor was cordial and friendly. He listened to my concerns and proceeded to examine me. My lungs were congested and he suspected that I had bronchitis. I used an inhaler for about 25 minutes to help ease my breathing. It provided some relief. The doctor scheduled me for an chest x-ray at the Inspira (Elmer) Hospital immediately after the office visit. The x-ray confirmed his diagnosis. He ordered an inhaler at the local CVS. I began using it immediately that day.

This was supposed to be an annual and I was finding a new doctor, but I was not happy with the way the exam went. I felt like very little time was given although he did spend some time 20 minutes, but I'm a 56-year-old female with a lot of issues in 20 minutes is not enough to talk about what's going on. We waste a lot of time talking about my deceased family members and their health where I want it more time on my health which was in a nutshell not a big concern even as I suggested other test it wasn't necessary. Why was I going to do the test if I wasn't gonna do any of the treatment. Because I like to know metabolically where I stand.in regards to my overall health and decide if I choose to take medication or not

Dr Malickel is AMAZING. He listened to each concern and provided feedback tailored to my questions as well as providing scientific rationale and evidence based insights. He listened to everything and never rushed me. I had additional questions I wasn't sure if I wanted to ask and he could tell. Before I left he asked If there was anything else. And I was able to have all my concerns addressed. So many time I feel rushed or like a "number ". No lie, best PCP appointment I've ever had

Dr advised that due to two test results I had a particular diagnosis; said it wasn't a high stage and basically not to worry unless the numbers change. No treatment or follow up plan.

I had an original appointment with Samantha Aderholdt (who I loved) but she is no longer with the practice so I had to see him, wasn't very happy with my experience with him so im gonna try the dr that took Samantha's place but if im not happy I will be finding a new place to go with my whole family honestly the only reason I continued to go there was for the front desk staff (they are all amazing)

Like I said he was good he is good but he's more interested in his paycheck I have been trying for 6 months now to see a psychologist and I have had no contact with anybody no one has called me they either don't take my insurance or like I was supposed to have x-rays they don't think my insurance so why bother
