About The Provider
Mavola Tench, M.D., is a family medicine physician at Inspira Medical Group Primary Care Buena Vista. Dr. Tench received her medical degree from the Temple University School of Medicine and completed her residency at Inspira Health Center Woodbury. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Dr. Tench specializes in the treatment of obesity and has experience with extensive weight management care plans.
Dr. Tench provides comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages by partnering with them to develop and maintain a plan of care to treat and prevent disease. She is an active member of the South Jersey Medical Association, where she mentors students, participates in community health events and helps raise funds to donate to nonprofits such as the Camden Rescue Mission.
When Dr. Tench isn't working, she can be found doing her two favorite things: singing and cooking—especially vegan soul food. Although her favorite vacation spot is Hawaii, Dr. Tench loves living in New Jersey because she is close to both the city and the beach. She is now accepting new patients.

Not sure about recommending yet, only 2nd visit. And assistance nonsense feels more like corporate red tape than compassionate personal care.

She does not listen. I had my husband there and he stated the same thing. We had to correct her 70%of the time because she added or just didn't listen

I used another doctor at this facility and was not happy until a friend told me about Dr. Tench. SHE IS WONDERFUL! Spends time with you. Doesn't make you feel like a number. Is animated, bright, and cheery. She's a snappy dresser and it is always a pleasant experience with Dr. Tench. SHE'S GREAT

I needed to see a doctor on short notice and my pcp Dr. Hargrave wasn't able to see me so I was given a choice to see Dr. M Tench ( who is my daughters MD). She reviewed my medical history and explained my options. She made an appt for me with a specialist in that fielf. I'm very thankful for her service to me.

The reschedules and the lack of caring from the nurse just gives bad taste to this practice. I like Dr tench but she isn't reliable. There is constant reschedules. If I was a parent bringing my child in sick and a nurse had that additude, I would have been a lot more upset! We need to have compassion for our patients, not frustration or annoyance because you need 1 extra test that takes 3 minutes to come back.

15 minutes for someone to figure out 40 years of issues and what the current issues are is just stupid . 100% not the doctors fault for my responses - other than she just seemed not to care at all about my research and what I know about my condition for the past 30 years
